How to cure seasonal blues

Dear whoever ends up reading this letter. I am a young AA, twenty-four in June, and have just been reading the March Grapevine. I got to thinking what it is to take a positive approach to my problems. You see, every autumn I go through a real depression. Shadows of this feeling follow me through the winter. In the last three years, I have tried many things to curb it. I bought myself toys (stereo, gun for hunting, motorcycle, etc.). I bought a car, thinking the problem was that I wasn't mobile enough. None of these solutions seemed to work--naturally, since they were only diversions.
