How to Identify a Martian

MY NAME is Lo. It's sort of a relief to know that I'm a Martian, and not one of those strange Earth people. It answers a lot of questions, such as: Why did I, as a child, feel that I had to watch other children to see how they behaved, so that I would know how to act--without the fear of betraying myself by crying when I should have laughed, or falling to the floor when I should have stood up to fight? Why, indeed, did I feel like a stranger in an alien land?
