Once Over Lightly

THAT REFERENCE TO WATER brings to mind a supposedly true tale sent in by Glenn S. of Tucson, Ariz. It tells of a former dipso, just arrived in AA and still tender about his new sobriety. He was walking in the woods one day when he came upon a bubbling spring of water. The only thing he could find around there to drink from was an empty beer bottle, so he washed it out, filled it from the spring, and quenched his thirst.
