Is It Really a 'Selfish Program'?

We get sober for ourselves, but. . .

I'M GETTING awfully tired of hearing, "This is a selfish program." After uttering this profundity, the speaker usually proceeds to announce virtuously that he joined AA and stopped drinking only for himself.
