Around AA - Items of AA Information and Experience

December 24-25, AAs in Phoenix, Ariz., will hold their 15th Christmas alkathon; those of Odessa, Tex., their fourth. (See page 45 for details.) These continuous, drop-in-any-time open meetings--with coffee, conversation, and companionship available at all hours--have become an AA institution in many places. New Year's Eve is also a popular time for alkathons.
