It Came upon the Midnight Clear

On a Christmas Eve she asked for help, and in the asking, she was made aware

IN DECEMBER 1959, I went through the tortures of hell trying to hang on to the Christmas spirit. My eldest daughter, then eighteen, and my husband were spending the holidays with us. I had moved to Florida with my remaining four young children, and had started divorce proceedings.
