Big-shot-itis

JESS WAS a real big shot in his drinking days. He always drove the finest cars (which he usually wrecked); he held the best jobs (which he usually lost); and he always went to the best places and threw the money around. After some years of drinking, his cars weren't so fancy, and the jobs weren't so good, and the money was not quite so easy to come by. But Jess never lost his big-shot-itis.
