The Story of Annabelle
ANNABELLE DIED last week. A few people will remember her, and probably a granite marker will bear her epitaph. But some ten miles from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport, there stands a huge monument to Annabelle. It is not only an impressive, four-story, 150-bed-capacity modern edifice, but a living memorial--an active and growing rehabilitation center for persons suffering from habituation to alcohol or sedative drugs.
