Absolutely Positive
Not drinking was one of the "absolutes" and he was positive about his drinking
A Few Years ago, I went to my first AA meeting, in New York City. My hands were trembling; my stomach was turning; my whole body and mind were on high C. I was coming off another prolonged binge. Some worried friends had suggested that I try Alcoholics Anonymous. I knew I needed something, and so I checked around and found a meeting over on the East Side and made my way over to it, rather unsteadily.
