When Self-pity Comes Sneaking Back

We have to remember where we've been and where we are now

I was Raised in a small town, within very sheltered surroundings. Recently, I began looking for an apartment in Los Angeles. After thirty-three months of sobriety, I reverted to my feelings of poor little lost girl-child trying to make it in the big city, scared and full of fears and wondering what in the world I was trying to do.
