WE PASS ALONG a story from The Squirrel Cage about a lush who was traveling in Cuba some years back. One day, while he was overloaded with Cuban rum, his tongue got loose and he made some nasty remarks about Castro. He was hauled into court, quickly convicted, and sentenced to be shot.
