The first Slogan I saw when I came to AA was But for the Grace of God. That I understood all too well. I knew I had found my home, my place to start again. The first thing I remember hearing was "an attitude of gratitude." I don't always have that attitude, although, But for the Grace of God. and a lot of people, I'd be back drinking, and that I do not have to do today.
