The July articles about AA in prison made me stop to think that we can't see the possibility of helping an inmate unless we go to a prison meeting directly. I have gone several times with my sponsor and will continue to go, because I'm not only spreading the message, but learning myself. A lot of us forget that if these people weren't there to show what could happen to us, we might take our sobriety for granted.
