Status

At a big luncheon meeting in Washington, D.C., some of those present were such well-known public figures that there was no point in trying to be anonymous. A clergyman was called on to say a few words, and announced, "I'm Bishop Jones, and I'm an alcoholic, sober today and for the last twelve years through the grace of God and the Fellowship of AA, and I can't tell you how happy I am to be with you all today. . . ."
