WE'RE SURE YOU ALL KNOW what the "buddy system" is, as practiced by swimmers, scuba divers, and such. But it isn't clear to everyone, as was shown when a swimming instructor was explaining it to a group of youngsters. "Does anyone here know what a buddy is?" he inquired.
