Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery
ALCOHOLICS NEVER SEEM to know what time it is, nor much care, but the dipso in this anecdote was concerned. He was ambling along the street one day, near the town hall, when he observed a workman clinging precariously to the face of the clock in the tower, doing some repair work on it. Looking upward, the lush shouted, "Is there something wrong with it?"
