I feel great today. I joined AA three weeks ago and have attended twelve meetings so far. A member told me at the last meeting that I both look and sound different than the first time he saw me. I know why. After twenty and one-half years, I have found a real social life, I have many people whom I call and yak with when I need to, and they understand. I feel like I fit into AA, and the fellowship is greatly appreciated and needed. Now I know that merely talking to people about my problems and having them understand is the best thing for me. And that is why I feel great today and have felt great for at least two weeks now.
