Is This Where the Alcoholics Meet?

OUR AA group In Cullman, Ala., meets at the top of the steps over one of our local poolrooms. On a Tuesday night about half an hour before one of our regular eight-o'clock open meetings, I was standing at the top of the staircase when, all of a sudden, I heard a voice: "Say, preacher! Is this where the alcoholics meet?" I looked down the steps, and there, just inside the door, stood two nicely dressed, stalwart county ladies looking up anxiously.
