In response to H. B., Newton, Mass., in the January issue: I question your statement that " 'The old AA' that was guided by the book or by AA in general or by the group conscience is out." Nothing in AA is "out" except wanting to be drunk. Why "new AA" and "old AA"? Keep it simple. Just AA will do. The times I like to hear "new" are when we talk of a new way of life. AA ideals are not old or new, just basic.
