Joyous rewards

About six weeks ago, I developed a severe pain in my chest while attempting to sink a putt on the second green. I remarked to my playing partner, a fellow AA, that I thought I was having a heart attack. He took me to a hospital emergency room, where efficient medical personnel confirmed my suspicion. The amazing thing is that I wasn't frightened; I cursed neither my fate nor my Higher Power, and I didn't get into any self-pity.
