If you don't know "Uncle Dick" by name, I'm sure you've seen him here and there at conventions, assemblies, conferences, et al. He's now eighty-eight or eighty-nine and still going strong. He's not a loudmouth and doesn't intrude upon anyone. He simply shows up. Everywhere. He wants nothing from AA Except to be allowed to be present whenever anything is going on.
