Welcome home!
After seven years of continuous sobriety, I started drinking again. The same old story--I stopped going to AA entirely (after I got married). When I got backed into a corner, I got drunk. Naturally! What else do you do to ease the pain of living? I didn't take the next drink for six months, but my feeling was: "What the heck, I broke my sobriety, so I might as well drink again."
