I was disturbed tonight and knew I needed something to get my mind off the "burn." I considered doing a puzzle or getting into a good novel to escape my thoughts. Luckily, I picked up the February Grapevine, which had just the right first article for me. It gave a name to the burn--"justified" resentment--and exploded the myth I was building, right down to praying for the "poor slob" who had been the object of my resentment (a fellow church member).
