The fact that I don't drink during the holidays isn't the greatest thing; the fact that I don't want to drink is the miracle. I, who have made an excuse to drink on every major and minor occasion since I was thirteen, actually want to participate in all the usual parties, dinners, and family gatherings without the aid of an alcohol boost.
