God Never Takes Anything Away

MY LITTLE blue-eyed, blond granddaughter absolutely adores visiting me--I believe it's because I tune in on three-year-olds. Maybe that's the level of my mentality since getting well, and maybe that's why I find so much joy in sobriety. Each day is an exciting new experience. At any rate, she prefers visiting me even when given a choice of going to Granny's or to the amusement park. This is just one of the fringe benefits of sobriety.
