I wish to express my thanks to the Grapevine and to Louise A. of Valley Stream, N.Y., for the excellent article "The Free Spirit" in the May issue. Perhaps I am inclined to "view with alarm" any departure from traditions, but I have had the impression from time to time that some few within the Fellowship, and the counseling profession, would have us believe we can buy freedom from remorse and guilt only at the cost of abandoning all traditional values. This is not liberation, but the substitution of one form of slavery for another.
