AA Meeting. . .in a Bar?
Even the active drinkers enjoyed this special Mother's Day program
THE MEETING was held in the bar at Howard Johnson's. It was in the bar because the Chumash Room, where the meeting is usually held, had been preempted by a lot of mothers who were having some kind of a buffet. So the manager shunted us into the bar, the only available space.
