Belonging

GROUP MEMBERSHIP has become a very important part of my AA program. First, I am a member of AA; then, I am a member--an active one--in my group. To me, this means attending that group's regular meetings as often as possible, helping set up the room, attending business sessions, and being ready and willing to serve when asked. With all this, it's important that I watch out for the old ego drive and have the humility to step aside and share with others the privilege of serving.
