You say you're drunk and can't stop drinking, but your wife says you should stand up like a man and use your willpower--if you really cared for her, you'd stop drinking by yourself. Well, I can only tell you about myself, my friend, because I'm the only one I really know about, and I couldn't stop drinking by willpower, either. It meant doing something about my drinking problem. It meant contacting the local office of Alcoholics Anonymous. If you like, I can have a couple of sober AAs come over to your house and talk with you. What's that?
