Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

STILL ON MISUNDERSTANDINGS: Schell B. sent in a true story about a woman AA member who became either confused or all het up about a topic the group was discussing. Anyway, she ended up by giving a lengthy harangue on women's lib and the Equal Rights Amendment. When she was through, a young fellow stood up and said, "Thank you, ma'am. Up until now, I thought ERA was a baseball term that meant the Earned Run Average of pitchers."
