Ho Hum, It's Wonderful!
There is something of joy in every boring moment--if we're willing to find it
WHEN I CAME to AA, via a rehab hospital, I was fairly well convinced that I had to stay dry if I wanted to stay alive. I was also pretty certain that because I was now "condemned" to sobriety, life was never ever going to be any fun again. It would be just one long march through boring meetings with boring people. Even the serenity thing everybody was talking about sounded boring. I sobered up for this?
