Going to Prison By Choice

THE PURPOSE of prison is twofold: to punish and to rehabilitate. For sixteen years, I have been going to prison as a member of a team of AAs who sponsor a group in one of Scotland's prisons, and I have found the second part of this purpose to be especially true for me, as well as for the inmate.
