Once again, I learned this week how completely those with whom we live in our daily coping are thrown by the rigorous honesty we in AA have to display if we are to be comfortable in our sobriety. Last Friday, as I backed my car out of a space in our apartment building's parking area, I heard a metallic sound. When I investigated, I noticed a scratch from front to back along the side of the car next to mine. Apparently, my bumper had done the damage.
