Power to Change

WHEN AN AA member voices dissatisfaction with his or her progress, we often hear the response "It takes time." These words are frequently spoken in a tone suggesting that, given enough time, all things will turn out well. While it's true that wounds take time to heal, growth requires not only time but the proper nourishment, protection, and direction, along with earnest effort and attainable goals.
