Growing up Sober

MAYBE WE BECAME alcoholics because we failed to grow, somewhere along the line. Many of the character defects we all possess are standard equipment in children. What normal child doesn't have the qualities of selfishness, anger, resentment, or fear? As children follow the natural progression of growth, they learn how to handle these emotions constructively, so they are not out of control.
