Release with love

I am a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over four years now. During that time, I have secretly prayed that a younger brother would embark upon our miraculous road of recovery. Recently, he entered our Fellowship, I felt perhaps he would have a chance to discover sobriety, as I have. After remaining sober for three months, he needed to do more research. Returning to AA, he expressed a seemingly sincere desire to stay sober once again. As is necessary for many of us, myself included, he saw fit to leave our fold one more time. He is still experimenting with alcohol, hoping he can whip the disease. How well we all know the impossibility of this!
