Just Like Me

I FIRMLY BELIEVED what I heard when I came into AA. I was told that special-purpose groups did not work, that we talked about our drinking and all those "other" problems took care of themselves. I was told that AA was not a lonely-hearts club and that if I had unique problems, I should discuss them privately with a sponsor. I was also told to find a group where I was comfortable.
