A FEW MONTHS ago, my wife and I were en route to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I was to spend more than three months on a volunteer business assignment. We were both excited about this opportunity to live and work in such a little-understood and, in many ways, almost unknown Moslem kingdom.
