The Traditions Are for Me

They have one ultimate objective--to support and protect the individual member

MANY OF US slide over the Twelve Traditions, believing they are concerned only with "organization." Yet when we take a closer look, we see the Traditions have one ultimate objective--the welfare of the individual member, through AA as a whole. For me, they are the foundation on which I work the Steps, additional tools that help me practice the principles of the program in all my affairs.
