Carry the Message
This AA tried to carry another alcoholic
I COMMITTED myself for life to a lockup hospital in 1967, after being told by many physicians that I was hopeless and would die or go insane in a short time. In that hospital, a beautiful doctor told me about some drunks like me who helped one another stay sober, and that this group was called Alcoholics Anonymous. My doctor dried me out and took me off barbiturates, and I attended my first AA meeting.
