Every Day We Are Beginners

IN THE BEGINNING, as I lived each sober day, merely being free of the physical consequences of drinking was ample reward. The difference was so stark! Then, as one day led to the next and the program began to unfold and I was able to identify, understand, and accept, I began to feel the glimmerings of personality growth.
