Do old-timers need meetings?

I often go to more meetings now, after nearly twenty years in the Fellowship, than I did many years ago. I have new problems in being a husband and a father, and I need the help of the group to keep me on the AA path. I sometimes think I should go to fewer meetings and let the others do the work as I gracefully retire. But I am grateful to God for the many years of sobriety He has given me, and I want the hand of AA to be there when someone needs it. And I need it just as badly as I needed it twenty years ago.
