Those Were the Good Old Days!

LIKE SOME other recovering alcoholics I have spoken to, I sometimes fall back into what I call the "good old days" syndrome. At these moments, I can recall only the fun times in my past, especially the fun I had drinking. The fears, the hurt, and the pain associated with my drinking somehow manage to elude my memory totally.
