As a grateful newcomer (seven short months) to Alcoholics Anonymous, I'd like to share with you a comment made to me by a dear friend. She had attended an open discussion meeting with me and spent a couple of hours talking with a few other AA members. On our way home, she turned to me saying how great it was that I'd found AA. "But," she went on, "I hope you don't live your life by it."
