We begin to change when first we enter
SEVERAL TWENTY-FOUR hours ago, when I arrived at the doors of AA beaten, battered, and "sick and tired of being sick and tired," I had a spiritual awakening. This did not come accompanied by strains from a heavenly choir, bright shafts of light, nor a feeling of elation accompanied by preparation for canonization.
