For Beginners --and All of Us- This issue of the Grapevine is dedicated to 'how it was' when we first came to the AA program--a sharing of experience and a reminder of principles we should never forget
ONE OF MY first memories in AA is seeing some of our slogans, such as "Easy Does It," framed and hanging on the walls of a meeting room. Months passed before I could begin to relate to any of them on an emotional, gut level. A cliche one hears fairly often at meetings in this area is "Bring the body around, and the mind will follow." A shorter version of this is "Keep coming around."
