SOME OF THE GUYS and gals who drink themselves into rough shape land in Manhattan's Towns Hospital for a five-day treatment. AA members must sign them in, and out. One booze-wracked victim was lugged to Towns recently, given first aid by a nurse, and put to bed. Next morning, the sponsor returned to inquire on the patient's health. "I feel awful!" said the pale and shaking drunk. "Look at this gash on my finger. Why, I could have landed in the hospital!"
