ALICE C. OF NEW YORK sent in several stories, including this one about a psychiatrist who was examining three patients referred to his department. For one of the tests, the doctor poured a pitcher of water from a height of three feet into an empty metal bucket, and asked each patient what the sound brought to his mind.
