A tricky slogan

Many times in my years of sobriety, I have used the AA sayings for my own undoing. "Easy Does It"--what a neat way to avoid things that I didn't want to do. "I am a sick person, and if I do that, I may get drunk" ("that" meaning anything I didn't want to do). "Don't be in a hurry to get a job; don't help around the house; just sit and do nothing." I used "Easy Does It" to further my laziness and allow me to feel safe in my procrastination.
