This AA believes positive thinking can sometimes be carried a bit too far
MY FAVORITE speaker at our local participation-type meetings is a man who dares to come right out and say that, drunk or sober, he considers life a dismal and frightening proposition, freely admitting that during his early years of sobriety, he spent whole days (such as Christmas) in bed with the covers over his head.
